My mission is to make technology understandable, practical, and empowering. I believe anyone can learn and master technology with the right guidance, opportunities to practice, and encouragement to keep learning. I enjoy helping students and professionals build confidence by turning complex concepts into practical skills they can apply to real-world situations.​

 

I am an educator and technology professional with over 10 years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, systems architecture, data analysis, web development, and operations management. I bring this industry experience into higher education, helping students develop practical skills, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and prepare for careers in technology.

I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems at Los Angeles Harbor College, where I am participating in the AI Literacy program. I am also an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems at El Camino College, where I teach Web Development and Office Applications. In addition, I have taught STEM through Concorde Education, leading hands-on programs in Digital Animation and Computer Coding.

My professional interests include technology education, data analysis, software development, web development, emerging technologies, and practical applications of technology. At West Los Angeles College, my research involved machine learning and statistical modeling in R to analyze ecological data.

Before transitioning to higher education, I worked across software engineering, cybersecurity, systems architecture, data, and operations management. At the U.S. Census Bureau, I supported the Economic sector through architecture consultations, web application development, and automated web security testing using HP WebInspect. At Infologics Corporation, I supported a mission-critical U.S. Department of Transportation system that processed millions of vehicle importation records while supporting regulatory compliance and system performance.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working at the intersection of technology, education, and practical problem-solving. Whether developing an application, analyzing data, designing a system, or teaching a student, I enjoy turning complex challenges into solutions that people can understand and use.
